| Championship January 10th, 2024. I'm going to read this into the record. I'm pretty excited about this for you guys. | 00:09:01 | |
| Whereas the Windsor Wizards Unified Bowling Team competed in the 2023 State Championship on November 7th. | 00:09:10 | |
| 2023 at Barrel and Inglewood and whereas Windsor State championship victories both record setting and historic, the team knocked | 00:09:17 | |
| down 651 pins, the most of in a team in a state championship game since the Colorado High School Activities Association section | 00:09:25 | |
| the sport in 2019. The state championship was also the 1st in program history and whereas the performance of seniors Jacob Carlio, | 00:09:32 | |
| Marley Lyon and Elijah Crandall along with junior Josiah Medina. | 00:09:40 | |
| That the 10th day of January 2024 be known as Windsor Wizards Day. It's with pride that we celebrate the unified Boeing team and | 00:10:18 | |
| can graduate team members, coaches and parents on a championship season. | 00:10:24 | |
| James. | 00:10:35 | |
| You know, everybody comes in here and there's sports that I can't relate to. But my gosh, I'm in line with you guys on this one. I | 00:10:37 | |
| can relate to this one. | 00:10:40 | |
| I'm curious though the secret of a of picking up a 710 split. Can somebody share that? | 00:10:44 | |
| I don't know either. | 00:10:51 | |
| So I'm asking y'all. | 00:10:54 | |
| Maybe one person ever make a 710 split. | 00:10:56 | |
| I want to congratulate you all. I want to thank your parents for supporting you and you and your chosen sport. As as fun one as it | 00:11:12 | |
| may be, they all are finding the fact that when you set your minds to something, you set your goals high. You achieve them carry | 00:11:18 | |
| that feeling with you through life because it will serve you well not only in Pick up 7/10 but it's been dealing with a life | 00:11:23 | |
| saving problems. | 00:11:28 | |
| Congratulations on your championship. | 00:11:34 | |
| Yeah, I I can actually support. I can relate to as well. Back in the day, Back in the day I used, I carried 185 average. | 00:11:38 | |
| A long time ago, right? So it's a sport that. It's a sport that I could relate to. But and you're right, a 710 split is nearly | 00:11:48 | |
| impossible. | 00:11:53 | |
| It's almost as bad as the Big Four, right? Pretty much about the same deal. But anyway, congratulations, guys, That's that's an | 00:11:59 | |
| honor to to have you in front of us today. | 00:12:03 | |
| Well, I can relate also. I was in the league and I think my average was 154. But the thing that I love about bowling is it's as | 00:12:09 | |
| much as an individual sport, as much as it's a team sport. And I have to be honest with you today, I still have those same bowling | 00:12:15 | |
| friends that I can reach out and and I have a cup of coffee with, so. | 00:12:22 | |
| Hopefully you will enjoy the future with your bowling and just enjoy again the friendships that it brings and congratulations, | 00:12:29 | |
| wonderful, outstanding. | 00:12:33 | |
| Congratulations from the Board, accounting Commissioners and you know when usually always reflects hard work and dedication to a | 00:12:39 | |
| purpose. So and as a team bonding together over that experience will stay with you for a lifetime. So again congratulations and we | 00:12:45 | |
| are so proud of you. | 00:12:51 | |
| And I would concur with my fellow commissioners. Great job. I'm. I'm very proud of your state championship. No matter. The sport | 00:12:58 | |
| is extremely hard and extremely rare If you come by, it takes a lot of work and a lot of dedication, not only on yourself but on | 00:13:04 | |
| your parents as well, getting you to practices and and making sure that you guys can be successful. But with that coach, I'd like | 00:13:11 | |
| to have you up and introduce your team and any words you'd like to say? | 00:13:17 | |
| Go on up to the microphone there and you can have your team come up and introduce themselves to it. I'm Michelle Cordano. I'm the | 00:13:24 | |
| head coach for Unified Bowling. I've been with the team since we started three years ago. | 00:13:31 | |
| We had Marley Lyon signed up, she's a senior with Windsor High. | 00:13:39 | |
| This is our secret weapon we call her because she does have an average of a 180. | 00:13:43 | |
| She's also senior with us to join this year. | 00:13:48 | |
| It's quite the bullet too. He actually works at the main event and so he practices all the time to be the best that he can be. So | 00:13:54 | |
| it's pretty amazing. And we have Jacob Jacob Carpio. | 00:13:59 | |
| Come on over. | 00:14:06 | |
| He's been with the team since we started three years ago. Jacob actually had to use a ramp, so his job is a little bit more | 00:14:09 | |
| difficult. He has to figure out if he has the first ball of the second ball. He has to figure out where that ramp has to go and be | 00:14:14 | |
| placed. | 00:14:18 | |
| By his partners and they can't help him in any way so that he can pick up those stairs or he can have those strikes. So it's quite | 00:14:24 | |
| a difficult, a little bit more difficult game for Jacob because he really has to have the pressure of how fast he's pushing the | 00:14:29 | |
| ball, you know, to pick up the right spares for us. | 00:14:34 | |
| And then they also had Jaden Hodge. She's been with us for two years. She's a sophomore at Windsor High, and she's been quite the | 00:14:40 | |
| bowler, too. She's really learned how to where she needs to stand to get those pickups and to get those strikes. | 00:14:47 | |
| So we are missing one more. Josiah Medina. He couldn't make it this morning with us and he's also been with us since the program | 00:14:53 | |
| started. He's a junior with us and he is actually a bowler on the side too. He goes, he's got like a 160 average. So yeah, so we | 00:15:01 | |
| had quite the team here that has worked very hard all season. I also have my assistant coach here, Gary. | 00:15:08 | |
| Joe is actually one of our volunteers, so he volunteers all of his time towards unified bowling. That's a lot of hours that he | 00:15:18 | |
| puts in to help collaborate with our team. We are missing my other assistant, Heather Gold. She couldn't make it today and we have | 00:15:23 | |
| one more volunteer, Joe, he's our stats guy, so he actually. | 00:15:29 | |
| So that's how we like that. Pretty amazing what they bought the state holding in their title for the numbers. | 00:16:10 | |
| Is quite. It's a collaboration of five games that they build. How awesome. Yes, that's wonderful. It was very hard together and | 00:16:17 | |
| worked very well as a team helping each other out. So, well, congratulations. Thank you. So if it's OK, we'll come up and we'll | 00:16:22 | |
| take a picture with you guys in front of. | 00:16:27 | |
| Good job. | 00:17:30 | |
| Is everybody ready? | 00:17:36 | |
| 123. | 00:17:38 | |
| 123. | 00:17:41 | |
| Yes. Thank you so much. Congratulations, John. Thank you. | 00:17:45 | |
| Thank you so much for having us. Thank you guys. Have a great day at school. | 00:18:14 | |
| With that, will move to Lawrence General Lawrence, January 9th, 2024. | 00:18:21 | |

| The new bid, the 2300216, was advertised to purchase the needed vehicles. This new bid was not an all or nothing. | 00:20:12 | |
| Bell County Garage was the low bidder for providing one of the trucks. However, that bid did not be specification. Specifically, | 00:20:21 | |
| it was missing the snow plow prep package, backup alarm of fitter switches, running boards, mud flaps and wheel liners. | 00:20:28 | |
