| What you guys in our department is really support a lot of our patients and our program staff as a social worker and we're | 00:07:37 | |
| connecting people with services. As you can imagine, we have folks that come into our public that face all kinds of challenges and | 00:07:42 | |
| some of those we can help them with, but those other community partners that might be able to serve them better than we do and so | 00:07:47 | |
| she has just this amazing. | 00:07:53 | |
| Level of empathy for people. She also has this amazing understanding of the community, resources and very strong relationships | 00:07:59 | |
| with these folks and she leverages that to benefit the clients. | 00:08:04 | |
| And that's just, you know, she's very selfless and just completely dedicated. We're gonna miss her terribly. But thankful for the | 00:08:09 | |
| time that we've had her and thankful for probably the 10s of thousands of people that she's helped in well county over her career. | 00:08:15 | |
| So just outstanding. And I'd like to introduce Annette Odell. She's her supervisor nurse practitioner here at the health | 00:08:21 | |
| department. And let her say a few words. Thank you. I echo everything that Sean said. I just wanted to say how proud I am I've | 00:08:27 | |
| been her supervisor and. | 00:08:33 | |
| The countless number of families and individuals she's helped over the years. | 00:08:40 | |

| Yeah, that's true. | 00:09:01 | |
| Thank you for supporting public health social work for the past 30 years. | 00:09:05 | |

| have an open heart in mind to help all those. | 00:09:19 | |
| We started this. | 00:09:27 | |
| I almost my coworkers, our clients, the community. | 00:09:30 | |
| And I love you. | 00:09:36 | |
| Thanks. | 00:09:39 | |
| Aurora and your straight and tenured career is a public health public servant. Have you ever treated envy? | 00:09:45 | |
| If that is your achievement for envy, I've got you know, I realize it's one of the seven deadlies and all that but I'm just see | 00:09:52 | |
| because whenever somebody retires I become envious and I'm just wondering if there is a Roy. Thank you. You nailed it when you | 00:09:57 | |
| said public health public servants. We are all ultimately just public servants and you take care of our fellow man. Thank you for | 00:10:03 | |
| doing so far for so so well. We we appreciate you very much. Congratulations. I'm envious. | 00:10:09 | |
| Mr. Buck, the example of what all employees that serve the community should be like, and as well as myself, I. | 00:10:16 | |
| Just it sounds like your career has been remarkable. I want to thank you so much for all that you've done, and may you have a | 00:10:28 | |
| wonderful retirement. We're going to miss you. | 00:10:32 | |
| Interesting. Yeah. I just wanted to thank you. To Laura, There's no higher calling than serving others, especially serving others | 00:10:37 | |
| in the way they need to be served. | 00:10:41 | |
| And they went the way they want to be served. And so I just thank you so very much. And I'm sure you're stored on treasure | 00:10:45 | |
| somewhere else other than just the source. So thank you so much for your example and for your leadership. And I'm sure you're | 00:10:50 | |
| going to continue to be a light for others to follow. | 00:10:54 | |
| When you retire. | 00:11:32 | |
| I love it. I love it. I love it. Yes. Yes. Well, congratulations. Why don't you come on up? We'll take a big old group photo here. | 00:11:34 | |
| Didn't mention that volunteer program. | 00:11:53 | |
| All the recent retirees. | 00:11:56 | |
| And a three 123. | 00:12:23 | |
| Thank you. | 00:12:31 | |
| Congratulations. | 00:12:45 | |
| We'll move on to proclamations. Item number 1, Highland Huskies Day Class 38 year leading State championship. So you Highland | 00:13:07 | |
| Huskies, I'm proud of you. Why don't you go ahead and come on up here. Stand by the podium. We're going to read a proclamation and | 00:13:13 | |
| then we'll che. | 00:13:19 | |
| I know Commissioner Freeman senses regards as Highland as his alma mater, but he is ill today and since his best proclamation | 00:13:26 | |
| Highland Huskies Day, Wednesday February 21st, 2024. Whereas the Highland Huskies cheerleading team competed in the Class 3A State | 00:13:34 | |
| Championships on Friday, December 8th, 2023 at the Denver Coliseum. And whereas with a score of 84.3 in the finals, Highland | 00:13:41 | |
| captured the state championship in the All Girl cheer category and reasserted itself as consistently one of the best cheer teams. | 00:13:49 | |
| In the state, this year's performance gave the Huskies their 5th Cheer championship in program history, which follows a streak of | 00:13:57 | |
| three consecutive from 2016 through 2018. And whereas earning the State championship and cheer requires strong team performance | 00:14:03 | |
| like gaming sport, however, the individual performances stand out as we celebrate the entire team. We want to congratulate | 00:14:09 | |
| sophomore Delilah Bailey and senior Cambria Bateman on being named to the 3A All State team by the Colorado High School Activities | 00:14:15 | |
| Association. | 00:14:21 | |
| Signed all five county commissioners. | 00:14:58 | |
| Congratulations. | 00:15:01 | |
| Coach, would you like to say anything? | 00:15:07 | |
| Yeah, so this season was. | 00:15:19 | |
| An amazing season. I think this team of mine is everybody's first time winning the state championship. | 00:15:23 | |
| So we had. | 00:15:32 | |
| It was me because we had gone so many years with the same team being able to win and then we. | 00:15:34 | |
| To have two rebuilding years, so this entire team had, they've been a State before but they've never won and it was just the look | 00:15:41 | |
| on their faces when they won State was priceless. I think chassis captured pictures of us after they took the picture with their | 00:15:48 | |
| chassis banner. | 00:15:54 | |
| And if a picture could say 1000 words? | 00:16:02 | |
| Those two, they had had so many injuries. | 00:16:05 | |
| Ups and downs this season and many competitions where we had to change what we were doing like 2 days before we went just because. | 00:16:10 | |
| In sports, you ever know what's gonna happen and actually the day, the week of State, we didn't even have a full team until the | 00:16:19 | |
| practice before State the night before. So it was definitely a different season. But I think that just speaks of the strength and | 00:16:25 | |
| the commitment and education of this team that we have this year, that through everything they were able to just make it happen | 00:16:32 | |
| when they needed to make it happen. | 00:16:38 | |
| So we have two of our seniors this year that I think wanted to say a few words about four season. Yeah, come on, please. | 00:16:46 | |
| All right. So first I wanted to thank you guys for having us here. | 00:16:53 | |
| Our season started off, it was good. We had a couple of injuries, you know, people being gone, but. | 00:16:58 | |
| And then we had some people join the team mid season, which really helped us. | 00:17:04 | |
| I'm going to kept our positivity out that I really showed on the map. I am really proud of these guys. | 00:17:09 | |
| Yeah. | 00:17:15 | |
| Definitely one of my hardest seasons. | 00:17:19 | |
| I never thought I'd be like, Oh my God, we're missing fires. Oh my God, like, where's my fires? That definitely needed more fires. | 00:17:23 | |
| But just something where and. | 00:17:32 | |
| Just I had so much fun this season. I'm like no other. I'm really glad I got close to these ladies and sadly saying goodbye to | 00:17:36 | |
| them this year. | 00:17:40 | |
| It was a really good season in my opinion. | 00:17:46 | |
| Excellent, excellent work. Well, if you don't mind, this is kind of one of our traditions too, if you don't mind just saying your | 00:17:48 | |
| name in your year of graduation and and we'll have that for everybody on the team so that we get to have that on the record that's | 00:17:54 | |
| that's Okay. So brand start and I'm graduating 2024. | 00:18:01 | |

| Who mentioned it to her? Showed on Flyers. | 00:19:37 | |
| Can I be a flyer? Have you ever had a £300 flyer? | 00:19:40 | |
| Who wants to be my spot? Somebody could be my. | 00:19:45 | |
| I'm just offering my services. Y'all are overly warm to what I'm saying right now. | 00:19:48 | |
| Guys can congratulate Chris and Delilah. Do you wear your docs when you when you fly? | 00:19:55 | |
| My dog chewed up my shirt. | 00:20:00 | |
| So you tell me your dog ate your homework essentially, right? Good for you. I use that one too. They work for me. Ladies, | 00:20:05 | |

| persevered, you apply that same kind of thing to life and you will succeed. | 00:20:23 | |
| It preserve you well throughout your entire lifetime. Even when you're a 61 year old 300 LB envious flyer, you'll you'll still go | 00:20:30 | |
