Pass around that was previously reviewed on 8/30/2023 for the rental of the asphalt remixing transfer vehicle. That's a lot to 00:26:38
say. 00:26:41
For two months. 00:26:46
It'll be used on, as you said, on the Wall County Road 77 project. We're asking for this for a couple reasons. One is safety on 00:26:48
the job site. This will remove the ground operator, put them in a in a vehicle and it can just work phone. 00:26:54
The. 00:27:02
Other reason is total quality of the mix. It's a long haul up there. This transfer vehicle remixes the asphalt. 00:27:03
And gives us a consistent temperature, which helps with compaction, which will help with speed up the process and longevity the 00:27:12
road. Last but certainly not least, we're paving at 36 feet wide. We're typically used to paving at 12 to 14. 00:27:18
Our current operations, I don't know if we can get enough material into the paver with the pickup machine we currently have. 00:27:26
And this will allow us to. 00:27:32
Continue with our belly dumps, go up and pick up the asphalt, bring it back to the pavers so you can pave that wide **** ****. So, 00:27:34
so we're asking for the board to approve this and have the chairs on. 00:27:39
What are the questions? 00:27:45
With the group second been moved by Mr. Ross, second like Mr. Bush, move all in favor opposed motion carries. 00:27:47
Seeing no further business, we will go to public comment. Is there anybody in the public that would look like to comment on 00:27:56
anything that's not on our agenda and you have up to 3 minutes to do so? 00:28:00
OK. 00:28:05
So you know public comment and we'll close that and we will adjourn it 9/18. Thanks everybody. 00:28:06

Good morning, Commissioners Josh Holbrook, County Public Works. Attached is a. 00:26:33
