A reconsideration of a motion must be made by the prevailing party and the next meeting after. 00:08:09
The motion was decided upon. I would like the prevailing side to consider your vote on the early childhood learning plan and send 00:08:15
a very clear message to the District Court. Boulder County Commissioners voted down 2 to 1, citing reasons of not enough 00:08:20
accountability, too much bureaucracy, and the taxing that would go along with that Service plan, and they were not satisfied on 00:08:26
the conditions. 00:08:32
Of the plan, So I would raise that question and and see if we can take a vote on that to reconsider. 00:08:38
See. No second. 00:08:48
I can't make the motion. She's asking for a motion to reconsider. 00:08:51
No, I'm the only person that have known that motion. 00:08:55
And I was supported with a plan, not necessarily supportive of the endeavor but supported the plan that was our job according to 00:08:58
statute was evaluate the plan. The plan fell within statute. My opinion, I am playing with my my position on that, on that, on 00:09:02
that item. 00:09:07
And I'm. 00:09:14
Agree. I think we've listened to the whole. 00:09:15
Presentation and I will stand by my decision as well. 00:09:18
So we have a. 00:09:24
Failure of a second, so we do not bring it forth. Rather, there's no, there's no. 00:09:26
Alright. 00:09:33
Let's go forward. 00:09:34

Audience that would like to speak, please keep it to 3 minutes. 00:26:55
Anything that's outside of the agenda? 00:27:00
Good morning. My name is Steve Teach from Grey. I got two comments. 00:27:16
And I'll get into my speech. First of all, I I'd like to know. 00:27:23
This government purchase of food preparation. 00:27:29
Services from the University of Northern Colorado. What is that? 00:27:32
4. 00:27:38
Let's see as you depression nutrition program that they do finally fork programs so to speak that food is prepared and sent out to 00:27:40
the various senior centers in the in the area and it's pretty good program. 00:27:45
Well, I agree with that then. But why doesn't the University of Northern Colorado just take the experience and and serve their 00:27:50
community? That's my. 00:27:55
Question. 00:28:00
Well, it is a program through senior. It's a of of AAA I believe is where that money comes down through. 00:28:02
And it's money that's made available as a pass through for the from the state. Feds state on that one. 00:28:08
And uh, it's a program that's well, Kenny offers. It's very well received. And how come you didn't see? Didn't trip in? Well, then 00:28:15
my my friends, doctor Andy Feinstein, I'll set you up with this number, OK? 00:28:21
But it's a program that we offer to you. OK and 2nd, I remember 7. I agree that that's a good idea with Habitat Humanity to me 00:28:29
about the build the senior citizens and now there could they be there for years and years? I won't say how many. 00:28:38
No. 00:28:48
And the other one got one that's hard, but I just keep that preferred. 00:28:50
Is, and I know throughout this country has this problem but it's getting worse and worse and worse and more useful. People used to 00:28:54
keep their dogs at home and. 00:29:00
Not bringing their pets into stores or restaurants or anything. 00:29:06
And it's getting worse. I according to the ADA, only dogs are allowed is to guide blind dogs or the service dogs, training service 00:29:13
dogs and. 00:29:20
There's a there's a health hazard as well as a safety hazard because of the dog might somebody somebody's gonna get sued most 00:29:27
likely and it's not going to be the owners from going to be whatever organization or business you're in. And I don't think that's 00:29:35
fair to the business. And we do also need to educate the businesses how what their rights as well to address the problem the 00:29:42
emphasis like that it's not a service. 00:29:50
Yeah, that they can ask two questions, #1 and #2 is if for only the dog lies thanks to the Colorado, like if they have enough 00:29:57
proof they can take them to court because it it's it was a big safety hazard, you know to the customers of the clients, to the 00:30:06
employees, the employer and all that. And I I think there needs to be. 00:30:16
Something done for protection? 00:30:25
And that's what I would say to your health hazard because. 00:30:28
A dog you know as a dog you know, and it's the only way. You always take responsibility and they don't have control and they'll 00:30:34
claim the ADA. 00:30:39
Supposed to control the dog where they can be asked to leave the dog outside and I just think that people are allergic to dogs as 00:30:46
well so. 00:30:51
To think that there needs to be something where first educated. 00:30:58
And then the businesses, but also educate the public as well because I think I believe that we could cut down on some of the 00:31:04
problems. Thank you. 00:31:09
That's why I cannot mine today. 00:31:15
All right. Any other public comments? 00:31:19
All right. I believe this meeting is adjourned. 00:31:22

So approval of the consent agenda second. 00:09:37
