	service to our county Department of Human Services. John has spent the last 8 1/2 years and our Family visitation Center, which	00:10:00
	has a new name, Family Time Center.	00:10:06
	And has just done a tremendous job in overseeing the visitations with the kids that are in placement with their their families and	00:10:14
	their parents and that takes a great deal of compassion and patience and expertise in the area of child offer which son has he	00:10:21
	prior to coming to Wall County he was a case worker I believe in Chaffee county and also did training for child welfare	00:10:29
	caseworkers so.	00:10:36
	In total, he has over 40 years in the child welfare business and we were lucky enough to.	00:10:44
	Get his expertise on part of his career, excuse me. And so all of that expertise has come in and really benefited us and the	00:10:52
	families in Weld County. So just really appreciative of all the good work that John has done. His coworkers really respect him and	00:11:01
	appreciate his calm demeanor and his ability to just really support those families. So, John, thank you very much.	00:11:10

	And I'm glad that was my last visit. It's positive memory.	00:13:27

	out there to help you do that particular role. And I particularly enjoyed the art show that we have started with our people over	00:18:45
	50 to participate in and it's been wonderful to see.	00:18:52
	The participation there and even after you retire, you can start a new talent and many of them are brand new artists.	00:19:01

	That that need assistance and so it's really wonderful that you're willing to take the time and help with with our aging	00:20:01
	population because really I mean that's that's so important it's it's what got us to all where we are today right because of	00:20:07
	parents and grandparents that.	00:20:12
	Raised us and taught us the values that we needed to be able to get to where we're at. So thank you for helping and working with	00:20:19

	Say what pleasure it is to see you all the time at the meetings you have been always.	00:20:29
	Consistent, always been there and so supportive and thank you. Thank you very much for all that you're doing. I've had my fair	00:20:34

	All right. That concludes presentations and takes us on to proclamations. This is a big day here.	00:22:37
	This is Erie Tigers Day and I'm pretty excited to see our Erie Tigers in the audience. We're going to celebrate the Class 4A	00:22:43
	football and cheerleading state championships, so I'm going to read a few proclamations and we'll do them individually.	00:22:50
	Whereas the Erie Tigers football team competed in the Class 4A state championship game on December 2nd, 2023 at Canvas Stadium in	00:22:59
	Fort Collins.	00:23:03
	And whereas against the Palmer Ridge Bears, the Tigers shine. Senior quarterback Blake Barnett scored two touchdowns and	00:23:08
	intercepted a pass on defense. The Tigers defense stopped the Bears momentum in the fourth quarter to earn a 20 to 6 state	00:23:15
	championship victory and whereas the victory showed grit, determination and teamwork to achieve a goal.	00:23:21
	In previous seasons, Eerie advanced deep in the playoffs only to fall short of the championship. This year, they'll continue	00:23:28
	practice and improvement. The Tigers completed their team model of unfinished business to earn their first football state	00:23:34
	championship since 1997, and whereas those characteristics great determination.	00:23:41
	Are ones in which we take the most pride. Yes, the athletic achievements are certainly special. However, the traits used to	00:23:48
	succeed athletically will also be needed later in life. The fact that your young people are utilizing them to win state	00:23:53
	championships as is confident they can achieve even greater things moving forward.	00:23:59
	Now therefore, be a proclaimed by the Boardwalk County Commissioners that the 29th day of January 2024 be known as Erie Tigers	00:24:05
	Day. Congratulations on the championship season signed by all 5 County Commissioners, coach and players. If you'd like to come to	00:24:11

	Six times they 10 cheerleaders, they set the standard at the high school or chase them. Now we're trying to get through where they	00:24:58

	What you said is very accurate of these young men and the work they put in this year.	00:25:10
	And the togetherness that they they created throughout the years was uncommon and the results showed at the end in that game was a	00:25:17
	testament to them and and everything they put into the season.	00:25:23

	And let one of these guys, because they all like talking a lot as far as of course we're going to make sure to have them have the	00:25:36

	that the occupancy alignment is not only the most intelligent but most attractive player on the team and so your recognition of	00:27:25
	that is what Butcher is, is through the state championship. It's not that I'm biased for offensive lineman or anything.	00:27:31
	Congratulations, The reason your state champions is because you set your mind to it. You worked hard and you achieved it.	00:27:39
	Just remember that that can happen. Anything you set your mind to in life, it's Team York. Well, for success in the future, where	00:27:45

	Anytime. But it is fun to watch them come together and be able to hold each other accountable when it really matters to get things	00:34:18

	their parents and that takes a great deal of compassion and patience and expertise in the area of child offer which son has he	00:10:21
	prior to coming to Wall County he was a case worker I believe in Chaffee county and also did training for child welfare	00:10:29
	caseworkers so.	00:10:36
	In total, he has over 40 years in the child welfare business and we were lucky enough to.	00:10:44
	Get his expertise on part of his career, excuse me. And so all of that expertise has come in and really benefited us and the	00:10:52
	families in Weld County. So just really appreciative of all the good work that John has done. His coworkers really respect him and	00:11:01
	appreciate his calm demeanor and his ability to just really support those families. So, John, thank you very much.	00:11:10

	championship victory and whereas the victory showed grit, determination and teamwork to achieve a goal.	00:23:21
	In previous seasons, Eerie advanced deep in the playoffs only to fall short of the championship. This year, they'll continue	00:23:28
	practice and improvement. The Tigers completed their team model of unfinished business to earn their first football state	00:23:34
	championship since 1997, and whereas those characteristics great determination.	00:23:41
	Are ones in which we take the most pride. Yes, the athletic achievements are certainly special. However, the traits used to	00:23:48
	succeed athletically will also be needed later in life. The fact that your young people are utilizing them to win state	00:23:53
