begin on April 16th and go through April 19th. This is to replace an irrigation culvert. The detour route for this closure is 00:07:24

Item number two consider temporary closure of N 11th Ave. between O Street and US Hwy. 85 Public Works. Public Works is requesting 00:08:03
this closure to begin on April 23rd and go through May 15th. 00:08:10
This will include removal of abandoned culvert that's no longer necessary. 00:08:18
And also, rather than just repatching, it's going to include a full mill and overlay of that section. 00:08:24
Due to the heavily damaged pavement through there, variable message boards will be in place in advance to help folks on the detour 00:08:30
route, and it is a paved detour route for this closure. 00:08:35
What are the dates of those beginning? It'll be through April 23rd through May 15th. 00:08:42

as an emergency ordinance, one of the requirements is that we asked the Board to give permission to the clerk, to the Board to put 00:09:45
it in the paper and then we'll be coming back two weeks after that to have the supplemental. 00:09:53

Item number four, consider sales quote for purchase of two Sears Tech Handheld Drug Identification Machines and related software 00:10:31
through Colorado State pricing Agreement Safeway and Good morning, Toby. Good morning, Toby Taylor with purchasing the Weld County 00:10:38
Sheriff's Office is requesting approval to purchase 2 Surtech Narcotic Identification Machines. 00:10:46
The cash quote is from Safeway for these items and the total amount of $60,851.26. The price inquiries through the Colorado State 00:10:53
pricing agreement. County code Section 5. Four allows county to participate in cooperative purchasing agreements. The Colorado 00:11:00
State Prosecutor. 00:11:06
Pricing agreement is one of those cooperatives. Lowell County Sheriff's Office is recommending utilizing this agreement with the 00:11:13
contract number of 187696 to procure this equipment. 00:11:18
And the World County Sheriff's Office will utilize funds from JBBS who have already been approved this purchase and the 00:11:24
recommendation is to authorize this. 00:11:29

Sanctuary. What I'd like to address today though is when I came up to speak last Wednesday, I feel that I was really interrupted 00:12:51
during my 3 minute comment time by Commissioner saying our 3 minutes are three minutes. And again today is not to create chaos 00:12:58
because I think there's enough chaos going on amongst the board and if anything I can be a beacon to stop that. 00:13:05
That the public comment I think people are just. 00:13:14
I get never. Sorry, I don't like public speaking. Maybe we don't understand it. Why is it at the end of the meeting? Why can't we 00:13:18
speak on it before? So maybe an education piece. Maybe we need to have a town hall again so we understand how that works and that 00:13:26
public comment is actually used for. I feel that the three minutes is my time to speak to you and not be interrupted. So I think 00:13:33
it's quietly hypocritical that I came up last Wednesday to speak on an urgent topic. 00:13:41
And to address that Commissioner saying. 00:13:49
And I was really interrupted by her. I feel it's hypocritical. 00:13:52
